Parent-Child Attachment Play (PCAP) is a very innovative and empowering early help attachment programme for parents and their children from 3-15+. Parents and carers are often concerned about their children’s behaviour and that by adopting a playful attachment approach, they will somehow lose control over their family life. In fact, the opposite is true. When the parent-child relationship is working, helpful child behaviour generally follows and family life becomes more manageable.

Drawing and Talking Therapy is the number one alternative to CBT and direct talking therapies, that can often be confronting or limiting in the processing of pain or trauma. As an attachment-based therapeutic intervention.
Drawing and Talking allows individuals to discover and communicate emotions through a non-directed technique, setting it apart from existing solution-focused and cognitive-based therapies and interventions. 12 x 30 minute sessions. Session day & time stays the same every week.

Andrea is a fountain of knowledge and has such a lovely, easy going and child centered approach to her work. She makes them feel important and they respond so well to her fun and energetic style. My child has learned skills on how to navigate emotions and I can see a huge improvement. I have learned skills as a parent on how to support them. I 100% recommend any parent to invest in some time with Andrea.

I honestly cannot recommend Andrea enough. I went to her with my little boy who had always been so quiet and shy,and very nervous in group settings. He had always struggled with his emotions and was very sensitive. He had started junior infants this year and had been struggling since day one with walking in to school each morning,he was so anxious and nervous at the thoughts of walking up the yard,it was becoming that bad that it had gotten to the stage where he was on the verge of being sick in the mornings. It was very hard and emotional on us both as no matter what i had tried to do or say nothing seemed to help,until we went to Andrea 🙌
She is AMAZING and is so knowledgeable and so compassionate in everything she says and does throughout each session. She simplifies it all so that it is so easy for the child and the parent to understand. With the advice from Andrea by making such simple,small changes each day,it has made a massive difference. My little boy now walks up the yard on his own without hesitation,his confidence is soaring lately,and actually shocks me at times!! My once quiet wee boy now seems so big and so brave and i am so proud of him,and its Andrea that i have to thank for that,and i cannot thank you enough Andrea xx

For As long as I can remember my son (now 11 years old) was a very nervous child and worried about everything, but following the death of a very close family member he became a lot worse to a point where attending school became an issue, he couldn’t sleep at night & play dates with friends stopped. I was told about Relax Kids so we said we would give it a go.
From the first phone call with Andrea she was so friendly and I felt she understood my situation.
Andrea was so welcoming to us both made us feel at ease, and made our visits fun and enjoyable.
I cannot recommend Relax Kids With Andrea enough, she gives you the tools to work with and helps you as a parent understand what is happening with your child when they get worried, my son has improved so much and talks about Andrea a lot and how she helped him. I have other kids and we all play the game as a family which I love

Thank you so much for everything Andrea. My little boy had several things going on that he was struggling with. He was going through grief from a very close relative. On top of this he had big fears that were holding him back from things. He also had problems socially amongst friends. Since starting the one to one sessions with Andrea there have been major positive changes in my little boys life. He is much happier amongst his peers as his social skills have improved greatly. He also began riding his bike which is something he had refused to do as he was too scared. He just hopped up on his bike one day by himself and took off. When he got off it, he was very proud of himself and he told me that he was telling himself the positive affirmations from Andrea and that they helped him do it. Andrea is such a beautiful person, the kids all just love her as she has the most beautiful way of connecting with them. My little boy always looks forward to his one to one sessions with her. They are so child centred and full of fun. Recently I have also taken my little girl to Andrea’s mother/ daughter session and she absolutely loved it. So much so that she has been asking me ever since when can she go back to Andrea. I will definitely do more of the parent/ child or mother/ daughter sessions as they are fantastic! I would highly recommend them. If you are thinking of booking Andrea’s one to one session for your child to help with something that you feel they are struggling with, I highly recommend you do as Andrea has a great way of adapting everything in these sessions to focus on the support best suited to your child and getting to the bottom of any issue. Thank you so much for everything Andrea, you have made a huge difference in my little boys life and we will be forever grateful ❤️❤️

I initially picked Andrea for Ryan as he was having motor tics and he was in pain with them, I never thought breathing and positive affirmations would of worked let alone worked so fast with helping him. Andrea is unbelievable at what she does, she has so much patience and was so helpful for us, I love doing our "calm corner" at home and it has brought us closer to each other, Ryan's "tics" have now moved and he's not in pain at all anymore. We do our meditation most evenings and when he flares up we now know how to settle him in a calm way. He was having separation anxiety also and this has lessened since Andrea's helpful tips and methods. I cannot recommend Andrea enough, she has such a wonderful way of breaking everything down for me and Ryan to understand to keep us going in the right direction. Thank you so much x

I went to Andrea with my daughter who was just recently diagnosed with adhd and was having terrible tantrums and finding it very hard to regulate herself. Andrea made us feel so welcome and relaxed. Andrea has helped my daughter control her tantrums in a way I thought was never possible. As a family we forever grateful for what she has done to help our daughter and family. Andrea has definitely brought the fun and special bond back between us all in what she has thought us. Thank you so much
