Parent-Child Attachment Play (PCAP) is a very innovative and empowering early help attachment programme for parents and their children from 3-15+. Parents and carers are often concerned about their children’s behaviour and that by adopting a playful attachment approach, they will somehow lose control over their family life. In fact, the opposite is true. When the parent-child relationship is working, helpful child behaviour generally follows and family life becomes more manageable.

Drawing & Talking Therapy

Drawing and Talking Therapy is the number one alternative to CBT and direct talking therapies, that can often be confronting or limiting in the processing of pain or trauma. As an attachment-based therapeutic intervention.
Drawing and Talking allows individuals to discover and communicate emotions through a non-directed technique, setting it apart from existing solution-focused and cognitive-based therapies and interventions. 12 x 30 minute sessions. Session day & time stays the same every week.

Andrea was responsible for a massive positive change in my child. They were struggling with attending school and she was able to explain their anxiety on a level a small child could understand was amazing. Her structure and mix of play, physical therapy and age appropriate explanations helped give the tools to begin resolving this issue.

We brought our four year old son to Andrea recently. He was struggling with managing his big feelings and was often very hard on himself. He didn't know how to process them and we were struggling with how to support him during those moments. Andrea helped him and us understand his emotions in a simple but effective way. She gave us useful tips and techniques to work with at home. Our son looked forward to going to see Andrea. She provided a warm and relaxing environment. We have seen clearly how it has helped him and us in difficult situations. We would highly recommend Andrea.

Andrea is unbelievable at what she does! When we started Jamie had huge anxiety about going in to school, going to hobbies, staying at birthday parties but now he has gained so much confidence and is so much happier in himself. Jamie struggled with a lot of big feelings and emotions and Andrea taught us several techniques to help Jamie regulate these emotions, she helped jamie realise that all emotions are natural and by doing a few simple exercises with result in less meltdowns. Would highly recommend Andrea she has helped us so much ❤️

Andrea is the most amazing person, this is the second time that Andrea has helped us. Back in Sept Oisín had developed a lot of Anxiety and fear and didn’t want to leave the house or go anywhere. Andrea was amazing she helped him over come his fears and has made him feel better in himself along with give him back his confidence. I can’t thank Andrea enough for everything she has done for us. Andrea hasn’t just help Oisín but she has helped me be a better parent. Thank you
